| 授業概要 | The focus is on thinking and speaking about important issues in the world today. Students do vocabulary building exercises for homework and follow this up with pair speaking activities in class. This is followed by discussion and exchange of ideas in small groups. Finally students present their ideas for discussion to the whole class. |
| 授業計画 | This class is for students who are enthusiastic about speaking English. The focus of this class is to speak as much as possible in pairs and small groups. You will develop your ability to express and discuss your opinions and ideas. Students will choose the topics they want to discuss from the 12 units in their textbook. These topics include:talking about personal experiences，music，travel，situations in life and plans for the future. For the tests students must give a short speech on one of the topics from the textbook and another giving their opinion on a current issue of importance. |
| 評価方法 | 50 points for class work，homework and attendance.50 points for tests. |
