授業概要 |
This EIC III (A) class is a class focused on reading. It is designed for the students who enjoy reading in English. This class is to help students develop critical thinking and communication skills by reading interesting issues important to university students. Students will not only read to increase their vocabulary, but also do pair work in which they will be able to share information on a variety of popular topics. |
授業計画 |
Students are expected to read the designated material in advance so that they can be well-prepared for the discussion. Students will learn how to express their opinions on the topic to an active speaker in class. There will be no tests or final exam. Instead, there will be a final oral report. |
評価方法 |
Attendance is extremely important in my class.Students are evaluated based on the following:Attendance 30%: If a student misses more than 4 classes, you will fail the course. Being more that 20 minutes late will be considered one absence.Being tardy 3 times will be considered as one absence. In-class activities, attitude and assignments 40% Late assignments will not be accepted.Reports, Exams and Presentation: 30% |
