授業概要	初の試みとして前期に立ち上げたウェブマガジンを引き継ぎ、さらに洗練されたコンテンツ制作をめざして、受講生に実際の編集部を編成してもらう。その作業の全過程を通して、雑誌という媒体の特性、編集者の仕事、雑誌ジャーナリズムの役割、社会とのかかわり、取材の要件・モラル、記事作成、誌面構成、ウェブデザインの基礎などの実務能力を育成しながら、紙媒体から電子媒体に移行しつつある雑誌ビジネスの変化を体感して欲しい。
授業計画	第一回編集方針会議バージョンアップする雑誌の性格、方向性、ターゲットを絞る編集会議で適宜アドバイス第二回編集方針会議編集会議を継続し、適宜アドバイス。また、自薦・他薦によりウェブデザインチームを編成企画会議 2回の編集方針会議での共通理解をもとに、各自が企画案を発表し、相互批評する各自が最終企画案を発表進行スケジュールを作成する。原稿依頼、取材開始。ウェブデザイン制作スタート編成会議記事の変更を含めて、編成を調整。取材は継続原稿受け取り、記事作成開始ビジュアル要素の発注・選定、作表など原稿受け取り、記事作成ビジュアル要素の選定、作表原稿締め切り、最終編成会議ビジュアル要素も決定し、デザイン素案完成。原稿整理タイトル決定引き続き原稿整理、見出し付け送稿すべての材料をチェックし、校正校正済み原稿をデザインに流し込みコンテンツ校了リンクなど最終チェック新ウェブマガジンの立ち上げ公開

The purpose of the course is for you to learn more about language， culture， values， and develop critical thinking. Students will learn to express their views and opinions on different topics as well.
授業計画	A variety of listening and pronunciation activities using songs in English. Students will also be asked to find information online to help them analyze and understand the content of the songs， and write comments about the songs.
評価方法	Good attendance， active participation in class， in-class and homework assignments， quizzes/ tests， projects， and presentations. No late assignment will be accepted. Other details will be discussed in class.

授業概要	An essential skill for Japanese students who wish， at some point， to travel， study or work abroad is to express their opinions on issues in a confident and coherent way. In Western countries like the U.S， the U.K. and Canada， individuals are often asked their opinions and they are often met with opposing views. In many cases， individuals are then judged by how well they can defend their views – in other words by how well they can debate. This is sometimes difficult to do for Japanese students because， as the result of cultural differences， they are not used to giving their point of view. This class will allow students to take sides on different issues， presented mainly in articles， and to debate these issues with their classmates. In this way， issues will be discussed and debating tactics will be examined.
授業計画	Debate and discussion/ critical thinking/ analysis of articles/ presentation skills/ formulating one’s own views and perspectives．
評価方法	Final evaluations for this class will be based on total performance including attendance， class participation and attitude， homework， reports， end of term presentations and/or examination. All aspects of the class will be essential for a good grade.

授業概要	受講生がチームを組み、一冊の雑誌を編集するプロセスを通して、雑誌編集の仕事の流れと雑誌編集者に求められる能力を理解する。企画の立案、予備取材・資料収集、インタビュー、記事のまとめ、執筆依頼、座談会の設定、ビジュアル要素の選定・撮影、デザイン、原稿整理、割り付け、入稿、校正、校了に至る流れを体験し、雑誌という媒体の特性を知る。

授業概要	In this course students will further their English language ability and their international cultural awareness through studying popular culture on the Internet. Students will learn to improve their critical thinking skills and improve their general English comprehension skills by examining different forms of global popular culture. All forms of popular culture will be covered; film， television， advertising， music， art， fashion and websites. Students will learn how to express their ideas and opinions in English about popular culture through using the Internet as their text.
授業計画	Students will explore English language through set tasks and personally selected topics based upon popular culture that is represented on the Internet.
評価方法	Students will be required to have good attendance， to actively participate in class， to complete in-class quizzes and complete projects and give presentations about their selected topics.

授業概要	当ゼミナールでは、3年生専門ゼミナールで研究したことを基に、各自卒業論文を作成する過程に入ります。春学期は論文の書き方、資料の収集方法、論文構成等を学び、秋学期に卒業論文の完成に入ります。
授業計画	春学期のゼミナールは、3年生ゼミの継続です。3年生時に研究したことを基に、各自卒業論文のテーマと構成準備を提出します。同時に、論文の書き方の練習をします。各自のテーマを決定し、資料の収集を経て論文作成に入ります。秋学期のゼミナールでは、夏休み明けに、各自卒業論文の途中経過を発表し、意見交換をおこないます。その後、12月中旬を卒業論文の完成目標にし、個別に指導していきます。
評価方法	①論文への取り組み。②ゼミへの出席数。③完成論文の構成と内容。
